What are probes?
As kids we all have questions that come to mind. Probes will be questions that YOU can investigate a little further. When you are done work early or maybe at home, check out the answers to some of your questions. Once you have done a little research, you will write a few paragraphs to answer the question in our class Probe notebook. Then you will draw a picture to go with it and jazz up your page. This will be used as extra credit for you!
Here are a few ideas...
If you clap underwater, why can't you hear it?
Why do rabbits jump instead of run away?
Why does my hair turn lighter in the sun?
How does a blister form? Why is there liquid inside?
How does fire turn into ash?
Why do people yawn?
Can a voice get loud enough and high enough to break glass?
Here is a site to help you get thinking...
